The tableau des vols of GTAC

To facilitate the setting up of public and private flights, the GTAC has set up a flight table.
It is a simple tool based on trust!

To use it, simply follow this tutorial:
Note that the interface is in French. But it's quite simple to use it even for a non-french speaker.

Step 1: Login / register to the forum

If you have not already done so, you must Create an account on our forum and present yourself
You will not be able to access the TDV without being logged into the forum.

Step 2: Join the TDV

The TDV can be accessed from the shortcut bar at the top of the forum. Just click on it to open it.
If you are joining the TDV for the first time, you must create a pilot by clicking on the "Ajouter un pilote" button
All you need to do is
  1. Enter your nickname in the field provided (be careful if your nickname is common)
  2. Use the same nickname as on the forum (and also use this nickname on TS and Discord)
  3. If you are part of a squadron, take the time to organize yourselves to have ALL the same tag. This will help you later on.
  4. If you have any doubts, you can check the list of pilots already registered by clicking on "Affiché/Masqué"
  5. Then click on "Ajouter"
You are now registered in the TDV database.

Note:
You will have noticed the "Connexion" button next to the "Ajouter un pilote" button.
This is a button for GTAC members and partners to log in to use advanced features such as add a flight.
As an external member, you cannot propose a flight by yourself (this is to avoid having several flights listed on the same day and at the same time).
If you want to propose a mission, you just have to ask on the forum. We will look with you at the best possible date to propose your mission.

Step 3: Register for a flight

To register for a flight, simply click on the desired flight in the upcoming missions ("Missions à venir").
Please note that locked flights are only accessible to partners and members of the GTAC.

If the flight is not locked, then simply click on the name of the mission (e.g. on picture "Entrainement DCS").
You will then find all the information related to this flight and you can register by filling in the fields above the registration table
.
  1. Disponible (Available) / Probable (Likely) / Non disponible (Unavailable)
This field allows you to define your participation in the mission.
Depending on your choice, we will wait a little while before launching the mission if you are expected to be present (so keep the probable choice to a minimum)
    .
    • Those available are certain to be present,
    • The likely ones are almost certain to be present,
    • Unavailable are considered absent (unlisted are considered absent)
  • Choose your nickname
Choose your nickname from the list.
This list contains only external pilots. If you are member/partner, you must be logged in ("connexion" button) to access the GTAC member and partner nicknames
    .

  • Group choice (this field is not always available, it depends on the mission creator)
It allows you to choose a group from the table above.

  • Leader
This box allows you to volunteer to be the flight leader of the selected group.

  • Commentaire
This field allows you to add a comment. For example, to point out that you will be a little late, or as in the screen below to ask a question (which I answered by changing the flight title and adding a message to the flight description).

Note:
If you need to change your entry, simply redo it as if it did not exist. The previous entry will be replaced by the new one.

CAUTION:
We have based our system on trust!
It is therefore possible to modify the registration of another pilot very easily.
We have allowed this to allow a leader to register his entire squadron at once
.

In general, we will adapt a mission to the number of registrants. But it could happen that some people delete another's registration to take their place. We hope this will not happen.
If this kind of behaviour does occur, we will take action to restrict rights. But we don't want to get to that point and have to play policeman.

If you ever make a mistake and change the wrong nickname (it can happen):
  • Re-register for the mistakenly changed pilot.
    •  Register it in "probable".
    • Post a message on the discord and/or forum to warn the pilot you made a mistake on.
  • Add in comment that the entry was made/changed by error.
